Mander Duffill Accountancy Academy with Wiltshire College & University Centre

We are now working with Wiltshire College & University Centre to help train and develop the next generation of accountants.

Julian Duffill, the firm’s Managing Partner, expressed his excitement with the collaboration:

“We are delighted to have launched this academy with the college and it will build on the great relationship between us both in providing AAT and accountancy training for a future generation of accountants.”

Iain Hatt, Deputy Principal at Wiltshire College, was delighted to attend the open day and announce the accountancy academy, elaborating:

“The new Mander Duffill Accountancy Academy is a great example of how businesses and the college can work together to form strong partnerships.  This new academy aims to develop the region’s next generation of accountancy technicians and it represents a really exciting opportunity for students interested in a career in finance.”

The academy will combine professional accountancy qualifications with work placements and masterclasses, to provide a unique programme to achieve both Level 2 and Level 3 AAT qualifications.

When studying Level 2 AAT, students will gain the skills in respect of bookkeeping, costing, accountancy software and effective working in finance.

Level 3 will then enable students to build on and develop their skills to an advanced level and learn more about indirect tax, ethics and spreadsheets.

The Mander Duffill Accountancy Academy is based at Wiltshire College’s Chippenham campus, where the courses will be delivered.  We will host exciting experiences such as masterclasses, visits and work placements, to nurture passion and talent and develop additional understanding of the industry.
